Abstract

Beginning with the materiality of space itself, this project emphasizes that choreography can use not only spatial features but also powerfully asks the following questions: How do creators consider the characteristics of space in the creative process? What is the relationship between the performance space of the theater and the fictional place evoked by the work? How do the behavioral norms of the audience change when the performance space changes? How does the performance space relate to history and society? From physical space to fictional space. After that, the concept of time is added to become a four-dimensional space. Then I combine my identity and experience to explore the cross-cultural creation of space.
